Goal

Test 12V → 3.3V power section before full PCB assembly.

Scope

  • Build standalone test board (LMR16006 + TVS + caps)
  • Verify efficiency at 12V input, 3.3V @ 300mA
  • Inject 60V transient — verify clamping
  • Measure output ripple (< 30mV RMS target)
  • Verify reverse polarity protection
  • Confirm standby current < 50µA

Pass Criteria

  • 3.3V stable at 0-300mA load
  • No damage at 60V/1s
  • Output noise < 30mV RMS
